Is Columbus Short Joining The “Empire” Cast?

Remember when we told you that Tyrese was hinting that he wants to make an appearance on “Empire” as Jody to get back Yvette a.k.a Cookie?

Well now the latest rumor is that Columbus Short might be popping on the small screen for an episode of the hit Fox show as well.

E! News reports:

“I’m not only back but it’s about to be a problem for Hollywood because we’re going to go big,” he said. “I’m excited, but I’m also humbled and grateful.”

Short acknowledged the rumors that he may be appearing on the second season of Empire. “Big things are happening,” he said. “I’m going to be bridging my music career with my acting career.”
Does that mean Empire is a definite go?

Short wouldn’t officially confirm his casting, but said, “I’m just saying it wouldn’t be a shock.”

Hmmmm…could you see Columbus on “Empire”? The only role we could possibly see him playing is Andre and we all know that’s already Trai Byers. 

Then again with Malik Yoba gone there’s room for another no nonsense Vernon style character….
