Damon Dash Admits He Threatened Rachel Roy’s Friend Oscar Sailes

Rachel Roy’s friend said Damon Dash menaced him in full view of the police and his two daughters.

Oscar Sailes is seeking a restraining order from Dash after Dash allegedly taunted him, with “Watch your back,” in front of Roy, their two daughters and officers from the L.A. Police Department.

And surprisingly, Dash himself agrees.

“I did threaten him,” Dash told Bossip in an email. “He can have his restraining order. I could care less.”

Roy and the former couple’s two daughters were present for the 11 p.m. fracas March 24, Sailes says in court papers.

“Damon Dash threatened my safety and well being,” Sailes said court papers alleging civil harassment. “He specifically told me that I need to ‘watch my back,’ and there was going to be trouble for me if he saw me again. All of these threats he made against me occurred while LAPD officers were present.”

“My friend, Rachel Roy was there, along with her two daughters,” Sailes said. “The LAPD officers were present, and they heard the threats as well.”

It’s not clear if Dash and Sailes’ verbal slanging match triggered the police response, or another issue. Dash and Roy have been embroiled in an increasingly acrimonious battle over child support and custody.

Sailes did not return Bossip’ requests for comment.
