Anna Wintour Tells Oprah: “You Need to Lose Weight”

Anna Wintour is the only person on the planet let alone the only white woman who could get away with teling the divine Ms. O that she needs to put the pork chops down. Damn, we’re surprised Anna’s still breathing. Flip the switch for more

Vogue editor Anna Wintour has revealed she told Oprah Wintour to loose weight if she wanted to appear on the cover of the magazine.

Anna told 60 minutes: “It was a very gentle suggestion. I said simply that ‘you might feel more comfortable.'”

The fashion legend added that Oprah was a trouper and followed a “very stringent diet” to drop the required 20 pounds.The magazine, from 1998, went on to become one of Vogue’s most successful ever.

Anna also revealed the truth behind her sunglasses in the interview. She said: “They’re seriously useful, I can sit in a show and if I’m bored out of my mind nobody will notice. They’ve become armour.”

We’re loving how revealing and honest the usually icy Ms Wintour is at the moment!

Typical Vogue magazine bulls*t. That kind of mess is one of the reasons so many girls and women have eating disorders. SMH
