Mary J. Blige Hit With State Tax Liens

Remember those tacky Burger King commercials Mary J. Blige made a couple years ago? Maybe the singer SHOULD have kept flexin’ her falsetto for fried chicken if her money was so funny.

According to new reports the legendary R&B diva is having more drama when it comes to paying her bills...

Not so positive financial news for Mary J. Blige. theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports that the legendary singer has been hit with yet another tax lien accusing her of stiffing the City of New York, bringing her total tax debt to over 3.4 million dollars.

On April 14th, Blige was hit with a City Tax Lien in New York County. The lien states the singer owes $16,179 in City Taxes.

The lien is the latest in a series of financial issues for Blige. The singer dropped over a million dollars last year to knock out 2 tax liens, but still reportedly owes over $3,426,255 in federal taxes for the years 2009-2012. The singers new total tax debt comes to a grand total of $3,442,434.

Blige is also still battling 2 lawsuits in New York over unpaid million dollar loans she took out for her charity. The singer claimed in court docs she is up to date on the loan payments but the bank is still coming after her for the millions owed. See the exclusive court docs.

Time to put out another album and pay up Mary!
