Noticing a dearth in the female talent pool, U.S. law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe beefed up its parental leave benefit. The company now offers 22 weeks of paid leave off for its attorneys, ThinkProgress reports. It’s the most generous policy ever offered to employees among large U.S. firms. The company’s new policy is a significant increase from its initial offer, adding four more weeks of paid leave and two more weeks of unpaid leave. New mommies and daddies can now take almost six months off — paid, of course — to take care of their newborn.

US Airways To End Business By Fall 2015

After 75 years of in the business, US Airways will start the end of its business in July and over a 90-day stretch close out officially in October. Executives of American Airlines who bought the airline in 2013 designed the delayed business fade out to avoid technological glitches and massive flight delays that hurt the United Airlines business once it switched to Continental Airlines’ computer systems in 2012. USA Today says US Airways flights will become American Airlines flights, however their jets would not be painted over until mid 2016.

Kanye West Can’t Get Jiggy With Spike Lee’s Chiraq

Last month, it was reported that Spike Lee was eyeing some big names in Samuel L. Jackson, Common, Jeremy Pivens and a one Kanye West for his developing film, Chiraq. While the former three veteran actors still have yet to say yay or nay, Vulture is confirming that Yeezy has dropped out of the project like he did with college. “Contrary to published reports, Kanye West will not be starring in Chiraq,” a representative for West said in a statement. “However, there are discussions for West’s possible involvement in the film’s soundtrack, schedule permitting.”
