Is Raven-Symone Single Handedly Ruining Her Credibility?

It seems like Raven has managed to stick her irrelevant and often ignorant opinions in just about every hot topic this year.  She’s slowly but surely earning her place on the list of forever yapping celebs.

Flip the script to see 8 of Raven’s most struggly moments.

Raven set Twitter on fire last year when she rejected the African American label in an interview with Oprah. She stated “I’m an American. I’m not an African-American; I’m an American.” and adds that she doesn’t want to be labeled gay either. We get her point that everyone is equal but if theres nothing wrong with being black… or being gay, then whats wrong with owning it?

Raven tried the wrong one back in March when she shaded Queen Bey by reiterating that Lil Kim was the original Queen.  It wasn’t long before the Beyhive attacked Raven on social media.

Sometimes, it pays to keep your opinions to yourself.  In March, Raven defended the racist journalist who compared the first lady Michelle Obama to an ape.  She excused all existence of modern day racism by saying, “…don’t fire me from this right now, but some people do look like animals.” No Raven… just no.

Remember a few years ago when she dropped a bunch of weight and tried to jump start a career in music? She released a single called “Ain’t Enough” and coincidentally it wasn’t enough to keep people watching.

Raven expressed her reaction to Kanye’s Billboard Awards performance stating, “I think he does stuff like this to make sure people pay attention.”

Attention slores can’t have anyone else stealing their attention…

Raven-Symone on E! News:  “I am from every continent in Africa except for one and I’m also from every continent in Europe except for one.”

…Well said Raven.

Pending the Secretary of Treasury approval, it seems that Harriet Tubman could be the new face of the $20 bill.  Instead of celebrating the fact that it would be an epic and long overdue step for American history, Raven said she doesn’t like the idea and feels the choice doesn’t represent our forward movement.

This mascot for self-love and acceptance once said, “Be comfortable with yourself, and I will preach that forever.” However admits to tanning 3 or 4 times a week to look “pretty” on the set of previous shows.

Contradiction or nah?
