Fantasia’s Hubby’s Ex Mother In Law Has Some Advice For The Singer

Kendall Taylor’s Former Mother In Law Says ‘Tasia Should’ve Vetted Hubby Before Getting Hitched

Fantasia’s on-again, off-again relationship with ex-con Kendall Taylor is apparently back on, and Taylor’s ex mother-in-law has come forward to offer some advice to the unlucky in love singer.

“My thoughts on that is that Fantasia should have done some checking before she married him,” Linda Givens told BOSSIP. “They had problems before. She just needed to have checked him out before she jumped up and married him.”

If Fantasia had indeed checked out her hubby, she would’ve found that he has a rap sheet a mile long. Taylor has convictions for bringing a weapon on campus, assaulting a female principal, and possession of a gun by a felon and drug possession.

Givens’s daughter, Kishia Lynn, married Taylor in 2004 and divorced him in 2008.

Givens refused to comment when asked her opinion of Taylor, but said she was aware of his criminal history.

Givens’ comments came as BOSSIP found there are no records of a marriage license for Fantasia and Taylor in Mecklenburg County, N.C., where Fantasia has lived for at least a decade and where Taylor is from.

Fantasia and Taylor now live together in Fantasia’s $740,000 palatial spread in Charlotte, N.C.

Taylor’s ex-wife Kishia, meanwhile, has moved on with her life, Givens said.

“His past has nothing to do with me or my daughter,” Givens said. “Like I said, Fantasia should have found all this out before she married him. You don’t jump into a relationship nowadays. You do a through background (check).”
