Jeremy Renner Addresses Gay Rumors

Apparently, there’s a big rumor going around the Internet that Avengers star Jeremy Renner has a thing for the fellas. The recently divorced father of one said quite simply…he doesn’t care if you think it’s true or not. Via E!online:

Oh, you think Jeremy Renner is gay? That’s cool, he doesn’t really care either way.

The actor talked about the speculation surrounding his sexuality during a recent (and candid!) interview with Playboy for their July/August issue (which just hit newsstands), and Renner couldn’t have addressed the situation any better.

“When you google yourself and the first thing that comes up is ‘Jeremy Renner gay,’ it’s like, ‘Oh, now you’ve arrived. You’re now a giant movie star.’ I don’t care, ultimately, if that’s what people want to think, read and care about,” the star said.

“F–king say whatever the hell you want about me. Look at where we’re at socially—leaps and bounds ahead of where we started. That’s an amazing thing. To suggest that it’s negative, that being gay is a terrible thing, a perversion or whatever—I just don’t get it. Don’t you wish we were in a world where we’re not shaming, judging and boxing people in?”

We’re not sure where this one even came from. Does he strike you as homosexual?
