OG Maco Says Future’s Raps About Drugs Have Destroyed Lives
Are drugs really THAT bad? B!^¢#, you guessed it!
OG Maco took to Twitter yesterday (July 9) to share his thoughts on drugs in Rap.
“Rap about drugs and call girls hoes and wear Supreme and bape and you’ll make it,” OG Maco writes.
He then uses Future as an example of an artist who raps about drugs and sets a poor example for listeners.
“I love Future,” OG Maco says, “but I also understand Future has destroyed countless lives by making it cool to be a drug addict. 56 Xans isn’t cool.”
Ironically enough, Ciara’s baby daddy announced last night that his new album “Dirty Sprite 2” will be dropping next week.
For those who aren’t in the #FutureHive or aren’t hip to drug slang, “Dirty Sprite” refers to the potentially fatal mix of liquid codeine and Sprite soda that is sloshing around the double cups carried by some of your favorite rappers. Same concoction that lead to the deaths of both Pimp C and ASAP Yams.
Many of us enjoy the musical stylings of Future Hendrix without any intention on ever sipping from the infamous double cup, but we certainly applaud OG Maco for keepin’ it so real.
