Black Strippers Sue Due Racism In The Club

Two NYC strippers are seeking for club owners to make it rain after alleging discrimination at the hands of strip club security and managers. The women say they were repeatedly subjected to racial slurs, physical assault, and exclusion based on being Black. Via NYPost:

Two strippers say they got spanked right in their bottom line — when they were banned from dancing in the “VIP room” because they’re black, according to a lawsuit.

Kieara Gaskin, 28, and Tenia Stuckey, 37, say it was hard to earn bigger tips when they were given less time in the VIP areas of clubs where they worked in Brooklyn and Queens.

The women, who are both black, allege in court papers that a manager at Burch’s clubs told security “to keep Gaskin and Stuckey out of the VIP areas due to their race.”

Gaskin was punished when she “refused to engage” with bouncers who dished out “sexually provocative verbal and physical misconduct . . . and as a result, she was barred from access to the VIP areas, which meant that she was denied the opportunity to work in the area where it was possible to earn greater tips,” according to the legal claim.

The strippers with boundaries say they were repeatedly called “black bitches” and that bosses used the N-word in reference to certain patrons.

The two women, both of whom worked at Sin City Cabaret in The Bronx, sued that club in December 2014, accusing managers there of “slapping, grabbing or poking” their “private body parts.”

A Sin City manager allegedly whisked Gaskin to a private area one night, “held her down and removed her clothes and touched her with his tongue,” she alleges, adding that she was “able to get away” from the assault.

SMH! Maybe it’s time for these two to find a new line of work??
