Safaree Samuels Responds To Meek Mill

By now you’ve surely seen Meek Mill’s epic Twitter rant where he goes in on Drake for having a ghostwriter and roasts his girlfriend Nicki Minaj’s ex Safaree Samuels’ entire life. If you’ll recall, Meek seemed particularly amused by Safaree’s twerkeriffic dance moves:

In case you were curious as to what exactly Meek was talking about when he accused SB of popping on a handstand, just take a look at this vintage vid of Safarree in the heat of a dance battle (jump to the 1:30 mark):

Well now…that DOES look just a teensy bit sus. But Safaree says he has a perfectly good explanation for making his knees touch his elbows. He also lets Meek know why he needs to be more concerned with taking care of home rather than thumb-thugging on social media in the middle of the night…

Hit the flip to see what he has to say.

According to SB, Meek just doesn’t know anything about dancing…or who Nicki texts emoji hearts to when she’s bored. Via TMZ:

Safaree Samuels wants to set the record straight after Meek Mill’s verbal assault — saying he’s not gay … he’s just an awesome dancer.

Nicki’s current BF, Meek … went after her ex during that Tuesday night Twitter rampage. He referenced an old clip of Safaree dancing, and said …”This n***a SB was twerking mannnnnnnn….i always thought u was gay.”

Sources close to Safaree tell TMZ … he has no problem with anyone who is gay, it’s just not HIS thing. We’re told the video is from a Jamaican dance battle Samuels did when he was 17 — and he thinks Meek should be less concerned with his moves … and more concerned about Nicki.

According to our sources, Safaree says Minaj still reaches out to him from time to time.

Oop! Looks like Meek needs to worry more about Nicki’s call log and less about old footage of her ex making it clap back in his teen years. SMH.

We STILL want to know exactly who/what put the battery in Meek’s back last night…
