G Unit Rapper Failed Several Drug Tests While On Probation
Young Buck hasn’t let a little thing like prison time get in the way of lighting up that loud.
The G Unit rapper, real name David Darnell Brown, is in some serious legal trouble after he failed four drug tests while on probation.
Back in 2012, Young Buck checked in to prison to begin his 18 months sentence for gun possession. He was sentenced to the time following a federal agent raid on his home five years ago that uncovered multiple guns inside —which was illegal due to him being a felon.
The rapper was released from Mississippi prison in October 2013 and has been on probation ever since.
Young Buck hasn’t had a smooth ride while on probation. Last year, he missed two drug tests and admitted screwing up to his probation officer. He narrowly escaped being thrown back in prison for not following his probation terms.
Then on May 19th, Buck’s probation officer filed docs in his criminal case explaining the rapper has once again violated the terms of his probation. The court docs explain recently, Buck was taking a urine test with his probation officer who witnessed the rapper holding a tube releasing liquid into the drug testing cup. The P.O. confronted Buck who admitted to faking the test. He then told his P.O. that he had been around people smoking weed but he was clean. Buck was later questioned again and admitted to smoking marijuana with Snoop Dogg.
The prosecution demanded the court order Young Buck be ordered to show up in court to explain himself. The rapper is scheduled to appear in court on August 6th.
Then on July 24th, the U.S. Attorney filed docs in the case providing new information to the judge to consider when he makes his decision on whether to send Buck back to prison, explaining the rapper continues to do drugs and isn’t taking his probation seriously.
The documents state that following the incident where Buck attempted to fake a urine test, he was tested in May, twice in June and once in July, and the results for each urine test came back positive for marijuana.
The court documents state that the rapper said he had not used marijuana since he was caught faking a test, but they beg to differ about his weed use, claiming he has continued to fail tests despite being warned about the possibility of being sent back to prison .
The prosecution notes that since November 2013, Buck has submitted to 27 urine tests and a total of five have been positive. They filed the documents to make sure the judge considers the rappers blatant disregard for the rules when he decides whether or not to send the rapper back to prison for violating the terms of his probation.
