Kordale & Kaleb Break Up

Remember the black gay couple “Kordale N Kaleb” whose photos of them doing their daughters’ hair went viral???

Well the seemingly happy pair have split and Caleb wrote a lengthy Instagram post about not “compromising your morals” with your soulmate.

Page Six reports:

America’s favorite gay dads on social media, Caleb Anthony and Kordale Lewis, have ended their engagement.

The couple, 27 and 26, respectively, are parents to three kids between 6 and 8 years old — Desmiray, Malia and Kordale Jr.

“My love for them will always prevail even if ‘Daddy’ and I are no longer together,” Anthony said in a lengthy Instagram message on Wednesday that shocked supporters.

“Truthfully, they are the ONLY reason I am sad to leave and move on.”

Anthony promises to continue be in the kids’ lives as their “Pop” in “this screwed up situation that has recently transpired between their dad and me,” he mentioned.

Although it’s unclear what caused the couple’s demise, Anthony continued, “You should never have to question your worth or [compromise] your morals when you’re with your soulmate; it doesn’t work out that way … I am happy to be ‘Caleb’ again.”

“I still love him,” Anthony said of his longtime partner.

“I’m willing to start over with MYSELF and find who I really am.”

He continued, “I cannot sit here and act like I was not part of the demise of ‘KordalenKaleb,’ but at no point do I or anyone else deserve to be disrespected the way I was and to continue it on while we’re together as a family on vacation,” he pointed out.

Known across the Internet as Kordale and Kaleb, the Atlanta-based couple rose to fame 18 months ago after a photo of them doing their daughters’ hair went viral.

Lewis even penned a book, “Picture Perfect,” about his life with his partner and the back story of the now-famous image. It soon captured the attention of Nikon, which added the family to its “I Am Generation” ad campaign in early 2015.

Nikon released a statement to Page Six saying, “We are aware of the news and wish the best to Kordale, Kaleb and their entire family. We were happy to have them participate in our campaign and there were no plans to extend marketing efforts with any of the featured participants.”

How sad, these two seemed so happy together.
