A former Texas day care worker is accused of producing freaky flicks at the facility she worked at while distributing it to a fugitive sex offender, federal authorities said.

Christina Cortez, 38, of Corpus Christi, was taken into custody after sickening images of at least one child being sexually abused was found in her possession, according to a criminal complaint this week.

Those photos, allegedly taken at the Coastal Bend Child Care facility, had been sent to 29-year-old Matthew Harbin who was living in Brownsville under a fake name while wanted for similar crimes and convictions in Alabama, authorities said.

Harbin in turn sent them to an undercover officer in England in hopes that he may be able to trade them for others, according to the complaint.

In emails sent in January with a Yahoo email address of dirtysickmind, authorities say Harbin asked the undercover officer if they had a daughter and what ages they were “in to.”

Harbin allegedly first sent three photos of a child clothed and not sexual in nature. He then sent five more pictures showing the same girl being fondled and positioned in an erotic way. Other photos recovered showed the girl after presumably instructed to fondle herself.

Investigators say Cortez, who’s depicted as a mother on her Facebook page, had sent Harbin images as far back as July of last year.

In their online conversations, they allegedly expressed a shared attraction to children. At one time Cortez told Harbin: “I would love to watch us with her. 2 & half.”

Both face 15 to 30 years in federal prison if convicted of the production charges. The distribution charges carry five to 20 years.
