Florida Man Flips Truck Full Of Beer Because Of His Puppy

What would make a Florida man flip an entire 18-wheeler on a busy highway??

A Budweiser beer truck overturned Tuesday morning, spilling Natural Light cans across a highway in Hernando County when the driver was distracted by his dog, according to a Florida Highway Patrol spokesman.

The crash happened on southbound Interstate 75 south of State Road 50, according to FHP Sgt. Steve Gaskins. No one was hurt.

Malcolm Jamal Wilcox, 23, of Fernandina Beach, was ticketed for careless driving, according to the FHP. Troopers said he collided with the center median before overturning about 7:30 a.m. He had drifted to the shoulder of the roadway after his small dog distracted him, then turned too hard to his left to correct the drift, an FHP report states.

The inside lane of the highway was closed three hours.
