Woman Shot Dead Outside Massachusetts Night Club

So sad. A 21-year-old mother of a small child lost her life yesterday while trying to show her musician boyfriend some support. Via MailOnline:

A 21-year-old mother has been shot and killed in crossfire outside a nightclub.

Ashlee Berryman had just left the Braza Bar and Grill in Everett near Boston, Massachusetts, at around 1am on Thursday when she was gunned down.

She had been watching her musician boyfriend perform inside the popular venue before the tragic incident unfolded.
Prosecutors said Berryman, who leaves behind a three-year-old son, was an ‘unintended target’ in the shooting.

Her 20-year-old sister Alx Berryman told the Boston Globe she had a message for the killer: ‘You just took away a 3-year-old’s mother.

‘Maybe you don’t have a mother and that’s why you’re such a monster, but if you did have a mother, or if you do have a mother, imagine growing up without her.’

Carol Brown, the victim’s aunt, told CBS Boston her niece was handing out CDs to help promote her boyfriend’s album.

Police are yet to make any arrests in the shooting, which was one of four in Boston and the surrounding areas on Wednesday night which left five people dead.

Sounds like a wrong place/wrong time situation. SMH.
