Carl Anthony Moore Said King Ba’s Check Fraud Scam Is Irrelevant To Nia Guzman’s Child Support Case
The lawyer for Chris Brown’s baby mama said his client’s child support battle with the singer has nothing to do with her bad check-writing boo King Ba.
King Ba, aka Brazil Riesling, has been on the run from police since last month for allegedly passing more than $5,000 in bad checks.
“Even if she was seeing him, I don’t think it would have anything to do with what’s at issue, which is child support,” Guzman’s lawyer, Carl Anthony Moore told BOSSIP. “Everyone is presumed innocent. Until someone is convicted, I don’t think we should be (rushing to judgment).”
Brown called out Guzman on Instagram this week for being boo’d up with the alleged fraudster and having him around their daughter, Royalty, one. Brown’s people reportedly told TMZ that he’d bring up King Ba when their case heads to Houston court Sept. 11.
Moore stressed that so far, King Ba has been nothing more than an Internet persona, and not even the police know his real name.
“You or I could be King Ba,” he said.
In a statement to BOSSIP, Guzman’s rep said the mom-of-two hasn’t been with King Ba in several months and has since moved far away from Houston.
