Big Boi And Phantogram’s EP “Big Grams” Is Out Sept 25

Rapper Big Boi revealed he came across his future collaborators for his new album while watching porn online.
The OutKast made the admission Sept. 10 at a listening party for his new album “Big Grams” at The Griffin in New York City.
“I kind of stumbled upon Phantogram music one day (on a) pop up ad,” Big Boi said. “I don’t know if it was You Porn or PornHub – I was closing out some screens and then the song popped up, ‘Mouth Full of Diamonds.’”

Big Boi said when he found out that the electric rock duo Phantogram – Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter – made the record, he put it on his website as his jam of the week. The pair reached out to him, they hung out and the result is their new seven-song album “Big Grams.”
“When your favorite hip-hop artist of all time actually calls you – can anyone actually imagine that happening?” Barthel said. “It’s kind of insane.”
“We were kind of sh*****g our pants.”

Big Boi, dressed in camouflage and sporting a large, iced out “Dungeon Family” chain, stuck to Red Bull for the night out, which was hosted by Epic head L.A. Reid.
“I’m really proud of this really amazing project that we’re so blessed receive.” Reid said. “All I know is that the end result is truly something special, and we cant wait to share it with you.”
