Lamar Odom And Liza Morales In Court Battle For Custody, Child Support

Ex-NBA star Lamar Odom is gearing up to battle his baby mama in court, with the two headed before a New York judge this week in their nasty child support and custody battle that has raged on for years.

Odom and Morales share two children from their relationship together: Destiny and Lamar Jr. Their third child, Jayden, tragically died when he was only six months old. The two met while attending high school in Queens, New York and dated since 11th grade.

Following the tragic loss of their son, the two broke up, with Odom moving on and deciding to marry Khloe Kardashian. Morales publicly stated her relationship with Odom crumbled after he married Kardashian, with the two only communicating through lawyers and third parties.

Odom filed suit against Morales in New York back in 2010, attempting to get a judge to sign off on an order for the child support he was supposed to pay his baby mama, along with a custody schedule. The legal battle has been going on for years with no real resolution taking place — most likely due to Odom’s marriage, NBA career and personal demons over the years.

However, Odom headed to court recently filing a motion to compel against his baby mama. It’s unclear what he is seeking from Morales from the court records. Morales went to court the same day filing a motion for “Pendente Lite Other,” which means she is seeking a temporary order for custody, support or both from the judge pending the outcome of their courtroom trial.

The battle is just heating up, with the trial scheduled to go before a New York judge later this week.
