Rick Ross Sued For Sexual Assault

Rick Ross only recently sprang from jail, but it looks like he might be heading back into some hot water for the actions of one of his entourage members.

As TMZ has learned, the recently engaged rapper has been held responsible in a lawsuit stemming from a sexual assault that occurred over Grammy weekend back in the Spring.

While Rick himself is not suspected as the rapist, the woman at the center of the case claims he should have been supervising the actions of the crew member she believes drugged and assaulted her.

The woman, whose real name is withheld in the lawsuit, says she she met up with Rick Ross and his entourage at the W Hotel in LA, saying the group had invited her to attend the Cannabis Cup weed convention with them.

She entered a van with Rick Ross, a man named Thaddeus “Black” James, a DJ, 3 security guards and the driver, at which point she says she was offered a glass of alcohol, which she accepted. Shortly thereafter, she claims she became dizzy and eventually passed out. She came to 2 hours and found herself alone in the van with Black.

The woman then says accompanied Black back to his hotel room, where she passed out once again. She finally woke up the following morning at 8 am, realized her clothes had been removed, and upon examining herself discovered that she had been sexually assaulted.

The woman believes Black is the one who raped her.

The lawsuit names Black but also holds Rick Ross accountable — the van she was drugged in belongs to Ross and she believes that since Black is his agent, Ross should have been keeping Black and his actions in line.
