Florida Man Arrested For DUI Tells Police That His Dog Was The One Driving The Car

A drunken Florida driver threw his dog under a bus over the weekend while he was being arrested for DUI.

Reliford Cooper was seen speeding through Manatee County in Florida. When the officer hit his lights to pull Cooper over, he hit the gas and crashed into two ditches before running into a house.

After fleeing the scene, a K9 dog tracked Cooper down inside a nearby church bathroom, where members ganged up to force him out to the police.

Then, this happend according to WFTS-ABC Action News

While applying handcuffs, officials said, Cooper made spontaneous remarks like, “I wasn’t driving that car.” He asked, “Who was chasing me? You’re slow as ****!”

The deputy smelled a strong odor of alcohol and marijuana. Cooper then said, “My dog was driving that car. I ran because I wanted to. You ain’t gonna find no drugs or guns on me.”

We can practically hear the conviction in his voice. This guy REALLY wanted the fuzz to believe that Fido was whippin’ the foreign like it was a Chevy. SMH.
