Milan Tells BOSSIP What Really Went Down
Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Milan Christopher set the record straight over claims he said his cast mates didn’t want to film with him because he’s a gay man.
The short answer? It never happened.
“It was completely fake,” Milan told BOSSIP. “It did not happen. We’re all cool.”
The rapper said a gossip website reported the rest of the cast nixed plans to film with Milan, but then claimed cast members like Omarion, Soulja Boy and Ray J said they wouldn’t share air time with him because he didn’t have enough street cred as an artist. Then a week later, he said the same site caught up with Omarion, who said he had no idea about the story.
“So, you just destroyed your own story…” Milan said, “because now your interviewing somebody who has no idea what you’re talking about.”
The Chicago native said the reality show’s storylines don’t overlap unless the cast members know each other, so he said most of the cast didn’t know he was going to be on the show before it aired. He said the L&HHH producers purposely keep the cast away from each other, because if they do meet, they want the cameras to capture it.
Milan – who told BOSSIP he hopes to return to Love & Hip Hop Hollywood next season – said he’s since shot scenes with almost all the cast, and is working with Ray J off camera.
“I still haven’t filmed with Omarion by the way, but Ray J, Fizz, the list goes on and on – we’re all cool,” he said. “Me and Ray J are working on music right now, and we’re doing a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway to the homeless.”
