According to Glamour, new research revealed that one in three millennial women don’t want children. The Cassandra Report: Ages and Stages suggests that of 75 million millennials, 25 million would prefer not to reproduce, which is interesting when you compare it to the 22 million Generation Y men and women who are already parents… According to the report, 34% percent of millennials aren’t here for parenthood because they don’t want to lose the flexibility that a child-free life affords them. 32 percent expressed that they’re not here for the major responsibilities that come with being a parent.
TV Series Based On “Think Like A Man” Being Developed By FOX
Deadline is reporting that the television network is in the process of developing a comedy series based on Steve Harvey’s bestselling book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. Keith Merryman and David A. Newman, who penned Think Like a Man and Think Like a Man Too, will handle writing the TV adaptation. They will also join Harvey and Gerald Washington as executive producers. Director Tim Story, who directed the original film and sequel, will also direct, and executive produce the pilot and potential series… For those who are unfamiliar, the book and films focus on winning in the game of love and the never-ending battle of the sexes.
Waka Flocka Flame Wants Off Atlantic Records
To put it simply, Waka Flocka Flame wants off Atlantic Records. The Atlanta rapper took to Twitter to let the world know he’s not too happy with his longtime label home, amongst other grievances. “I f*cking hate my label,” tweeted the “No Hands” rapper. “Atlantic Records —– LET ME BUY-OUT F*CK!!!!” Flocka wasn’t done. He added, “Labels don’t do shit for the artist #FACTS Labels don’t invest #FACTS Labels hire a bunch of amateurs to keep cost down #FACTS.” Flock actually started his rant by expressed his disappointment in BET for holding their Hip Hop Awards during the Million Man March (they were actually on a Friday while the march was on a Saturday). Waka Flocka’s last album, Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family, was released in 2012.
