Presidential Candidate Ben Carson Says He Used To Be “Volatile” As A Teenager

Presidential candidate Ben Carson is a lot of different things. He’s a Republican, he’s a neurosurgeon, he’s also a very quiet and demure man.

The latter has characteristic has left him open for criticism from, mainly from GOP frontrunner Donald Trump:

“We have a breaking story. Donald Trump has fallen to second place behind Ben Carson. We informed Ben, but he was sleeping.”

One thing that Ben Carson is not, is a stupid man. He knows if he wants to be the President of The United States, then he needs to look strong and ready to take on anything be it ISIS, Al Qaeda, or a toupee’d blow hard with racist tendencies. That said, he might have overcompensated a tad in his response to Trump:

“I am soft-spoken. I do have a tendency to be relaxed. I wasn’t always like that. There was a time when I was, you know, very volatile. But, you know, I changed.

“As a teenager, I would go after people with rocks, and bricks, and baseball bats, and hammers. And, of course, many people know the story when I was 14 and I tried to stab someone. And, you know, fortunately … my life has been changed. And I’m a very different person now.”
