Student Jawanza Ingram Homeless After Being Booted From Howard University Dorm
A Howard University student’s unfair treatment is currently going viral.
Jawanza Ingram, a sophomore at the prestigious HBCU, was apparently booted from his dorm for allowing fellow students into the building through an emergency side entrance.
A Florida native, he now says he has no permanent place to reside, and received little to no empathy from administrative officials.
Jawanza’s #HomelessAtHoward hashtag has caught the eye of several people who can’t understand why a first time offender’s housing privileges would be revoked so quickly…
and from critics and HBCU grads disappointed in the school’s actions.
Ingram now says he’s found shelter.
Why would the school move to revoke housing privileges from a sophomore OUT OF STATE student???
Surely there was a better punishment than turning their back on their own…
What do YOU think about Jawanza being #HomelessAtHoward???
