Thieves broke into a shopping mall not far from the scene of the San Bernardino shooting on Sunday, sparking a massive police response. Panicked shoppers heard glass shattering and reported shots at the Riverside shopping mall. But the larger than usual police response was called off once cops realized it was a burglary and not another terror attack. The reports of shootings were unfounded. The investigation into the robbery is still ongoing and no suspects have been caught.
