Ciara And Russell Wilson Spark Engagement Rumors
Looks like we are officially on ring-watch for Russell Wilson and Ciara. The singer has been effusively tweeting about her joyfulness, leading many folks to wonder if Russell has given her even more reason to be jolly this holiday season.
Terez Owens is reporting that Russell Wilson has already asked Ciara for her hand in holy matrimony-dom:
Russell Wilson is done holding out for sex, he popped the question to his “girlfriend” Ciara. Rumor has it the two plan to get married this offseason, hopefully Russell has some really good lawyers. The future looks bright for these two, that was too easy. -TO
And E! says they’re not engaged yet but they will be soon enough:
Ciara and boyfriend Russell Wilson are not engaged…for now.
The 30-year-old R&B singer and the 27-year-old NFL star began dating in April and sparked engagement rumors this week.
“Ciara and Wilson are not engaged,” a source told E! News exclusively on Friday. “They will be getting engaged one day soon though, as they both openly talk about their future with each other.”
“They know in their hearts they are meant to be with each other,” the source added. “They are in such an amazing place now in their relationship.”
That’s nice. Hit the flip to hear what Ciara had to say about a potential engagement on the red carpet of Billboard’s Women in Music event Friday.
Ciara did touch on a potential engagement in this red carpet interview with ET Friday:
The singer told Entertainment Tonight that she’s gearing up for a “fun, exciting, eventful” year ahead, and didn’t rule out the prospect of an engagement to her NFL star beau.
“Look at my hand!” she teased on the red carpet at the Billboard Women in Music event on Friday, flashing a ring-less left hand.
“It’s all about time,” she told ET, responding to whether an engagement might be coming in 2016. “Everything falls in perfect timing with the way it’s supposed to.”
So timing wise — what do you think think the Vegas odds are these two will announce an engagement sometime between Christmas and New Year’s Day?
