Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Amberr Laura Talks New Music, Moving On And Gives Her Verdict On The New Season Of The Show
We watched Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Amberr Laura’s world come crashing down on reality TV when her on-off lover Miles Brock revealed that he was gay.
But now she gets to watch the drama unfold from the comfort of her couch as the new season of Love & Hip Hop New York kicks off. And she said she already had an opinion of Peter Gunz trying to worm his way back into ex-girlfriend Tara’s life behind his wife Amina’s back.
“You know, real love always finds it’s way back,” Amberr told BOSSIP from LA, “but I’m not sure if that’s the right decision for her because he’s hurt her so many times. No shade to Peter Gunz!!”
Viewers watched Amberr’s highs and lows last season; she went from planning a future with Miles to having to come to terms with his homosexuality. The segment when she went to therapy following Miles’ revelation was one of the most watched in Love & Hip Hop’s history.
And although Miles betrayed her trust and they’re no longer close, Amberr said she doesn’t believe he slugged on-off boyfriend Milan Christopher during a spat at a Halloween party. She said he never laid a finger on her, or even raised his voice.
“Personally, I think it’s a lie,” she said. “I think it’s a cry for attention (from Milan) and not knowing how to deal with a breakup.”
Amberr said she’s steering clear of the drama, starting to date again and is concentrating on her rap career. She’s set to drop her new single, “Skinny B***hes” at the beginning of next year and has been working on an EP.
“I did go through the storm, but it’s sunny over here,” Amberr said. “And music is my life.”
