“Saved By The Bell” Star’s Husband Blows Off Divorce Petition
Lark Voorhies is poised to ask a divorce court judge to rule in her favor in her messy divorce from admitted gang banger Jimmy Eugene Greene.
That’s because Voorhies’ estranged husband never responded to her Oct. 2015 divorce petition, BOSSIP can reveal.
Voorhies wants an LA divorce court judge to issue a default judgment against Greene in their split, which cites “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their breakup, after Greene blew off the chance to respond to her claims in court. The couple married in Las Vegas in April. Voorhies also asked that Greene not be entitled to spousal support.
The actress already tried to get the default ruling, but the court rejected her claim Dec. 22 because she didn’t properly notify Greene, according to officials from LA County Superior Court. Voorhies will likely try for the default judgment again once she serves Greene.
A judge has yet to rule, but if the case moves in her favor it would be some welcome good news for Voorhies, who has had a rough time of late.
Besides the divorce, Greene’s been threatening to sell a sex tape of the couple from happier times, as rumors swirl that the actress is battling lupus. Voorhies posted on Instagram that she’s no longer African-American with a selfie where she has a significantly lighter complexion.
