Kanye West Will Not Be Recording Rumored David Bowie Cover Album

Cool your t!t$ ladies and gentlemen. Kanye West will not be sullying your beloved David Bowie music with his 808’s and shenanigans according to TMZ.

Apparently a British tabloid sparked a rumor that Mr. West would be recording a cover album of the recently deceased rocker’s most popular tunes. The idea of such a thing sent many into a faux-outrage frenzy via social media. People were so incensed that they started a petition that garnered 5,000 signatures (how the hell a petition would stop an album, we have NO idea).

A source close to Kanye says there was never any talk of ever making Bowie cover LP.

Kanye posted this tweet upon learning of Bowie’s death and appeared that he had the utmost respect for him.
