Woman Claimed Former Miami Heat Player And Friend Choked And Raped Her In 2013 Attack

Justice has been served in former NBA star Michael Beasley’s $25 million federal sex assault case, with the player agreeing to settle with his accuser, BOSSIP has learned.

Lawyers for Beasley, a second round draft pick who now plays professionally in China, have been in talks with attorneys for alleged victim Sandy Manning since late 2015 to settle the civil sex assault suit. But BOSSIP can reveal that they’ve struck a deal this week that will make the whole thing go away.

Manning sued Beasley after she said he and a friend battered, throttled and raped her repeatedly during a visit to Beasley’s Scottsdale, Az. home three years ago.

The woman said the men “restrained, fondled, grabbed and groped, stripped her clothing from her, repeatedly choked her into unconsciousness, and repeatedly sexually assaulted and raped her.” Manning said the rape left her with injuries to her vagina and anus.
