“We for sure had some great insight on our issues,” Nunn said. “I come from a broken home, and I never really realized that I always kind of had an issue coming from a broken home and they really emphasized that on the show. My mindset had always been work, work, work. I never stop for anything. A lot of that came out, and the breakthrough for me was that that came from my mom.”
The “Bad Girls Club” alum said the intense therapy, exercises and mommy/daughter challenges helped her realize that she needed to take it easy and spend more time with family. She said she’s slowed down on partying, now preferring to do yoga with her mom and hang out with her husband, former NFLer Jacob Payne.
“I was always all over the place, and the one thing (I learned) was slow down,” Nunn said, “and I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. And that’s what I’ve been doing.”
