Fifth Grader Caught With Handgun In His Backpack At NY Public School
The NYDailyNews is reporting that there is an 11 in New York who wants to be Bishop in “Juice”…
A Queens fifth-grader toted a black pistol to class in his knapsack after swiping the Hi-Point .380 semi-automatic weapon from under his clueless grandfather’s bed, officials said. There was a single bullet in the magazine.
Bad grandpa Kenneth Miley, 54, of Queens, was arrested Tuesday on a variety of charges after the boy filched the gun from their apartment and brought it to Public School 40 in Jamaica, officials said.
“Oh my God! I can’t believe this,” said a visibly shaken Stacey John, 32, whose son is also a fifth-grader at the school. “They (school) didn’t inform no one. How could this happen? … I’m so upset right now.”
The NYPD was summoned to the school at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday after school safety officers — notified by other students — found the student’s backpack with the gun stuffed inside, cops said.
The boy showed no fear of the menacing-looking weapon. According to court records, he told police he was adept at loading and unloading the gun.
This kid has probably watched his grandfather load and handle that gun a million times…just watching and learning. SMH.
