NBA Star and Art Enthusiast Amar’e Stoudemire Teams Up With ‘Good Times Ahead’ For Live Art Installation Event During Miami Music Week

Amar’e Stoudemire teamed up with Good Times Ahead for a live art installation during Miami Music Week.

The demonstration titled ‘In The Paint’ was held at Space 1306 in Miami Beach. Throughout the evening artists Nick McPherson, MR DVICE, and Tocayo painted live on six 60×60 canvases pinned together. Targeting underprivileged youth in communities across the country, the experiential art series aimed to expose them to the arts and basketball.

The Miami Heat star was joined by Miami GTA Founders Matt Toth & Julio Meija, artists Nick McPherson, MR DVICE, and Tocayo and other notable Miami influencers. Music was provided through DJs CRAZE, WUKI, and APE DRUMS. Plus there was a special guest appearance and performance by DJ Hardwell.

Proceeds from the event beneffitted the 2016 Miami Heat star’s namesake foundation. Both the Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation & In The Paint Series, help to fund underprivileged youth arts programs.
