Will you be watching “Captain America“???
Nate Moore Dishes On “Captain America: Civil War”
According to Moore, Marvel made a conscious decision to give T’Challa a proper introduction.
“We knew as soon as we used him we had to give him a real storyline, he couldn’t just be a cameo. He had to be somebody that was very involved a.) just because it does the character respect, but also because we know we wanted to do a standalone movie.
When we were writing the film we needed a character that could stand between Iron Man and Captain America and hold his own and I think the character does that. And once we cast Chadwick Boseman, all of a sudden you have a star in the making.
We love the character, there’s a ton we have planned for him and I think in this film it really helped us launch him into a solo movie that people are going to be really excited about.”
He also added that he believes that they’ve satisfied Marvel fans with Civil War which is already hearing rumblings that it’s the absolute BEST super hero film of all time.
“I think so, I think theres’s something in it for everyone. Whether or not it’s just the people who love Black Panther or people who want to see the new Spider Man or people who just want to see The Avengers fight each other.
But we also wanted to pay off the storylines we set up in both “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” and “Captain America: Winter Soldier”—so what is that story of Bucky? What is that resolution there? We thought it was important for not only for Bucky but for Steve moving forward with Captain America.”
Moore also dishes on his beginnings as a production assistant, his work in the Marvel writers program and reveals how he got his big break with “Captain America: Winter Soldier.”
