Teens Under 18 No Longer Allowed On Tinder

Tinder recently announced that they will be banning users who are under 18 years of age. If you’re anything like us, the news probably has you wondering why they were ever allowed on the dating app in the first place; however, the answer to that question remains unclear at this time. According to Cosmopolitan, since its inception in 2012, Tinder has permitted teens between the ages of 13 and 17 to use the application. “On a platform that has facilitated over 11 billion connections, we have the responsibility of constantly assessing our different user experiences,” Tinder explained in a statement. “Consistent with this responsibility, we have decided to discontinue service for under 18 users. We believe this is the best policy moving forward. This change will take effect next week…”

Netflix Will Be Streaming On Delta Airlines For Free And We’re Rejoicing

Starting July 1, Netflix will be streaming services on Delta and American Airlines, as if we needed another reason to binge watch shows and be anti-social. According to a Delta Airlines’ press release, the airline will show free in-flight entertainment on 90 percent of their planes. Entertainment will include “300 movies, 750 TV shows, 100 foreign films, 2,400 songs, 18 channels of live satellite TV and a selection of games.” The press release also noted: “Delta Studio [will] consistently provide the best depth and breadth of content in the skies, from its lineup of all of the best picture nominees during awards season, to having nearly all of the top-grossing recent box office hits… Live TV is available on more than 240 aircraft…”

Rachel Dolezal Spotted At Howard University Filming A Documentary On Race, Students Have Questions

Rachel Dolezal, the first White woman to ever want to be Black instead, was spotted at Howard University filming a documentary on race. The Dolezal drew a lot of attention as it made the rounds on the HBCU’s campus. According to Howard student and A Tribe Called News editor Maya Scade, who spotted the Dolezal and took photos of it, the assumed documentary is on “race and identity in America,” is directed by a White man and is being produced by Los Angeles-based Rad Films. Picking Howard University is an interesting choice seeing as how the Dolezal sued the school for discrimination back in 2015, alleging racial discrimination. The Dolezal was there studying for a Master’s Degree in the Fine Arts program…
