Kyrie Irving Responds To “Anti-Black Woman” Image

While Kyrie Irving has been having an amazing year professionally, he’s been through the wringer when it comes to social media for basically ALL of 2016. First he became Shenanigan #1 in the fallout of the Kehlani/PartyNextDoor did-she-or-didn’t-she-cheat scandaloso back in the Spring. NOW, he’s drawn the ire of Black twitter for the footage of his All-Becky Boat Bash that leaked to the interwebs after Cleveland took home the championship.

After a pretty lackluster “I love all the colors” response from his Instagram a few days ago, Kyrie has now taken to Facebook to address the controversy directly. Of course, he calls the entire thing ridiculous:

Welp…that was pretty much the response expected. Honestly, even if Kyrie really does have a soft spot in his heart for non-Black women — regardless of the things he’s been through with the women he’s chosen — then who is anyone to tell him he can’t keep his preference? He can have whatever kind women he wants on his party boat…right?
