Dancehall Legend Sits Down With BOSSIP In Jamaica

Beenie Man has spoken out on his opinions of rappers featuring dancehall artists and music in their songs.

BOSSIP caught up with the “King of Dancehall” for his thoughts at Reggae SumFest 2016, where he joined the likes of Tarrus Riley, Popcaan, Barrington Levy with special guest Shyne and Sanchez for a five-day celebration of dancehall and reggae.

Mr. Vegas recently slammed Drake for cultural appropriation for using a sample of Beenie Man’s “Tear Off Mi Garments” for his hit song “Controlla,” which also featured reggae star Popcaan. But Beenie had a different take. Peep the video below:
