Man what is in the water?? Yet another longstanding Hollywood couple has called it quits, seemingly out of the blue sky.

Another one of Hollywood’s power couples have called it quits. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber confirmed to Us Weekly via a statement on Monday, September 26, that they’re separating after 11 years together.

“Over the past few months we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple. It is with great love, respect and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship,” their joint statement read. “While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy.”

The pair started dating in 2005 and never married. They share sons Alexander “Sasha,” 9, and Samuel, 7.

Man what is up with all these long-term couples throwing in the towel recently?? At least these two weren’t legally married. That should keep the messiness to a minimum with this split…
