Lela Loren Responds To “Power” Fan Comments
Lela Loren a.k.a. Angela Valdez on “Power” has apparently been getting slammed with hateful comments from fans who can’t wait for Tommy or maybe even Tasha to FINALLY “cancel Christmas.”
SPOILERS AHEAD!
As previously reported, on the season finale of Power viewers watched as Angela put Ghost in handcuffs after his fingerprints turned up at Greg Knox’s apartment. Knox was of course actually gunned down by Sandoval but a frantic Angie believes that Ghost’s comments about “protecting them”, were a murder confession.
The scene of course PISSED OFF fans who’ve been gunning for Angela’s death ever since she busted up Ghost and Tasha’s marriage.

Lela Loren, whose turned off her Instagram comments, recently sent disgruntled fans a sassy message about her character. “For those of you who seem unable to separate storytelling from reality–there’s help for that. Go get it,” said Loren.
BLOOP!
What do YOU think about Angela Valdez??? Is it time for her to go???
More from Lela Loren on Sunday’s finale on the flip.
STARZ, Instagram
Lela recently told ESSENCE about Greg Knox’s death and revealed that Angela was originally supposed to kill him.
“Greg was actually supposed to die in season two and there were a couple of scenarios where I killed him and then the plot changed to something more complicated,” the actress shares. “The way it played out makes more sense for Angela because it’s like, ‘what would you do if someone you were dating broke up with you and then you’re kind of dating someone else and the you actually think that your ex-boyfriend killed your current boyfriend?'”
On Angela arresting Ghost at Truth nightclub:
“I think she could have waited for that night to pass, but she intentionally didn’t because she felt so lied to and so horrified because, at this point, she really believes that Ghost murdered Greg,” Loren says of the final few moments of the season 3 finale.
“But we’ve all become tied and bonded to each other,” the actress said of life between the cast after the director calls ‘cut.’ “We’re a really tight group. What’s more interesting for me is that this year, our characters are quite distant.
In the beginning, you all get along but, you’re still kind of strangers. But now, all of our character have a sector of people that hate us and strangely, that bonds us all together even closer as actors. We support each other through it and because of it, the cast is all very united. It’s grown in like a really lovely, lucky way.”
Loren’s costar Luis Antonio Ramos a.k.a. Ruiz also asked for fans to take it easy on her.
