Tupac And Janet Nominated For 2017 RocK & Roll Hall Of Fame

Congrats to Tupac and Janet!! Each star has been nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame next year.

This is actually the second year in a row that Janet has made the nominee list. An induction would definitely cap off an amazing year for Janet, who not only leaped back onto the music scene, but announced that she was expecting a baby with her billionaire hubby Wissam Al Mana.

This is the first year Tupac was able to qualify for a nomination. According to People:

Late rap icon Shakur made it onto the list of nominees in his first year of eligibility. Artists must have released their first single or album at least 25 years ago, or no later than 1991 for the 2017 nominees, to be considered. Shakur released his first album 2Pacalyspse Now in 1991.

Starting now through Dec. 5, fans will be able to vote for their favorites by visiting The top five artists selected by the public will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be factored in the selection process.

Nice. Go vote! Each of them definitely deserve to make it…
