We already loved Lion Babe singer Jillian Hervey, but now we have even more reason to like her. The singer won’t try and trade on her mom Vanessa Williams’ famous name!

“I never walk into a room and say, ‘Hi! I am Vanessa Williams’ daughter,’ ” she told Page Six at Hammerstein Ballroom. “It helps me to become more authentic.”

Fellow industry scion Egypt Criss, daughter of Sandra “Pepa” Denton and rapper Treach, said at the same event of her own mom: “I’m too scared to wear her Salt-N-Pepa jacket [from] the ‘Push It’ video. I’ve tried it on in the house but . . . what if I mess it up or it gets stolen?”
