Rihanna And Drake Confirm Split, Avoid Duets During Abu Dhabi Shows
You guys will probably remember how Aubrey and Rihanna seemed to be going so strong after the MTV VMA awards until word got out that he was blowing India Love’s backs to smithereens… WHICH we told y’all FIRST. And once that finally was confirmed RihRih pretty much went ghost on the 6God. Can you really blame her?
Anyway, both Rihanna and Drake were in the United Arab Emirates this week for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and she was set to headline the after race concert. Although Drake was rumored to be joining her so they could perform their collaborations “Work” and “Take Care” together, that never happened.
A source told Mirror Online:
“Rihanna was an hour late to the stage and didn’t impress us too much. It was like she didn’t want to be here. We were so gutted she didn’t bring out Drake especially as he was already in the country. It just doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t duet together.”
Interestingly enough, the Mirror also reports that eyewitnesses saw Drake’s DJ, Future The Prince backstage to support Rihanna along with Rita Ora, Paris Hilton and Akon.
So — it’s safe to assume they’re done right? Or do you think they’re just avoiding people assuming they’re still an item and so they met up later on the low? That wouldn’t be like Drake. He is EXTRA after all.
