Common Keeps It Real

Common says that his one time pastor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright (Obama’s current pastor) is just keeping it real:

“He never really was against white people or another race. It was more against an establishment that was oppressing people. I think we all can see that this country has problems and a lot of it starts in the political system,” ….. “What I picked up from being in the pews … was messages of love. Anything that was going against that love he would acknowledge and expose.”

Then he got a little to full of himself:

“He’s been a preacher that’s helped raise one of the greatest political figures in the world and, hopefully, the next President,” …….”He’s also raised one of the great rappers in the world!” (At which point the the whole room of reporters, mostly white, roared in laughter with him.)

    You’re so right Common,

However Amerikkka never likes to own up to all of it’s racial injustice and oppression…Besides people are just looking for a reason to stop OBAMA and hurt his run for the white house…Just like when Michelle Obama said that “For the first time I’m proud of my country” some dumb assholes took that as some kind of insult to Amerikka…The USA is the most hipacritical country on earth, you got people still hanging nooses in 2008 but calling this man a racisit, please.

    Oops! I meant racist.

if you have a problem with the establishment, then you preach and encourage action that brings about positive change.
