Jay-Z is the king of rap hands down. He has already been ranked by MTV as the greatest rapper of all time, you can’t take that away from him. As far as albums, American Gangster was pure fire. Jay-z has only made one album that was slightly below his par, and that was kingdom come. Jay-Z is beyond hip hop at this point: the president of the free world likes his music; he takes Oprah on a tour of his old city; he is building water irrigation systems in Africa. This guy is the king of hip hop, but he far above that stage and that title. Now for the haters, what substantial thing have you accomplished in your life?

    I can’t wait for 3. I hope it’s dope.

JK, you’re right. It took a whole year for his last album to go platinum.
