An Irish woman raised in a nurses convent, Rosemary Adaser, speaks about the horrors of growing up half-black in Ireland. Rosemary, like other mixed race children in Ireland before the 70’s, were considered “illegitimate” at the time and suffered from racism…even at a nurses convent.
