Chris Brown Defends His Name, Accuses Karrueche’s Team Of Lying On Him

We broke it here first! Friday we told you Chris Brown had been served with the restraining order papers that Karrueche has been trying to get delivered for months now. Over the weekend, Chris Brown responded to the reports, claiming not only that he hasn’t been served, but also that Karrueche’s abuse claims are false and that he’s being used to promote her projects. It seems like an unlikely story to us — being that Tran’s lawyer has confirmed the singer was served.

Tran’s attorney Michelle Trigger said her legal team feels “relief” after the successful delivery.

“This has been a frustrating endeavor trying to serve someone who was clearly evading service,” she told E! News. “I feel better knowing she is safe and we can now focus on securing her a permanent restraining order, rather than playing cat and mouse with Mr. Brown.”

BOSSIP can confirm that a judge has accepted Brown’s service Friday.

We know #TeamBreezy is going to stay loyal, but does anyone else believe Chris when he claims he’s not a stalker and didn’t abuse Kae?

Chris is likely upset because there are so many stories about Karrueche testifying against him that have people thinking she’s now filed a criminal lawsuit against him. In actuality, Karrueche will be giving a statement in family court to secure a restraining order.

Our sources say Karrueche just wants to be left alone. She became particularly upset after her friend J. Ryan was confronted by Brown at a Diddy party in February. Brown also refused to stop calling her despite her changing her number multiple times. In truth, Karrueche didn’t even want to file the restraining order but she felt she had no other choice after Brown has threatened her and her friends.
