Brother And Sister Murdered While Visiting Makeshift Memorial For Friend Who Recently Died

A brother and sister went to visit a slain friend’s makeshift memorial when a shoot out happened, claiming their lives.

The tragic scene happened in Chicago’s Brighton Park area, according to the Chicago Tribune. They were killed and eight other people were wounded when two men with rifles stepped from an alley around 5:20 p.m. The duo opened fire on the group, as they stood around balloons and candles. SMH. Police say they have a “pretty good idea” of who the perps may be.

The brother and sister, Adriana Williams and Michael were 24 and 27-years-old.

According to reports, Adriana and Michael each leave behind three children.  Adriana and Michael Williams had visited the memorial to pay their respects to a friend, 26-year-old Daniel Cardova.  The report says he was shot down the street around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.  Police said they found his body between two parked cars.

The eight others injured in the incident included six men and two women, who are all reportedly in stable condition.
