Starz! Leading Man Loaned This Co-Star Five Figures

The cast of “Power” apparently sticks together through thick and thin.

“Power” actor Omari Hardwick and his wife Jennifer ponied up a whopping $22,000 loan to help out fellow “Power” actor 50 Cent, 50’s bankruptcy records show.

According to the docs, the Hardwicks loaned the money, and 50 paid it back in March, and reported it in his May operating report to the judge. It’s not clear what the money was used for, but 50 Cent has been trying to get his finances back on track after filing for bankruptcy in 2015.

50’s docs show he paid the Hardwicks a total of $22,000 back plus $1,995 interest.

Hardwick can certainly afford the loan – “Power” is one of the most viewed TV shows out, and the actor has been in demand for other movies a well as his spoken word poetry.

Both Hardwick and 50 Cent appear to be close – with Hardwick saying at a screening last year that it was the “In The Club” rapper who pushed for him to land the show’s lead role of drug dealer turned club owner James St. Patrick, aka “Ghost.”
