John McCain Praises Obama As Strong Leader Compared To Trump
Donald Trump is wildly unpopular here in America and his image worldwide isn’t much better.
In the wake of the stabbing attack in the U.K. last week ago, the pumpkin bisque POTUS took to Twitter to slam the mayor of London:
Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his "no reason to be alarmed" statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 5, 2017
This tweet was widely seen as tacky and ignorant considering that Trump misconstrued the mayor’s comments and took them COMPLETELY out of context.
When TheGuardian asked John McCain about the message that a tweet like that sends to our long-standing allies across the pond, welp:
“What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead,” McCain said, while adding of the rest of the world: “They are not sure of American leadership, whether it be in Siberia or whether it be in Antarctica.”
Asked if America’s standing on the global stage was better under Barack Obama, McCain, a fervent critic of the previous administration’s foreign policy, responded: “As far as American leadership is concerned, yes.”
Can’t we just rewrite the constitution and get Barry back for another 4 years?
